I did a cover using a guitar hero style backing track with all of the original guitar parts removed. I recorded using garageband and a line-in from my guitar pedal. Tell me what you think. just click this link:

and it's the first song on my profile. C4C

you can find where I got the original backing track and lots of others here:

Oh my GOD. I can hear the bass guitar!!
Now in seriousness, it works very well, and I'll probably end up using it myself =D
Thanks bro.

Good choice of song, and it's been a loooong time since I heard and played Symphony of Destruction. Actually, it's been so much time that I couldn't play the solo very well at the time

Anyway, your cover is perfect. If it wasn't the tone of the guitar, it could pass as the original (well, at least if you're not paying much attention xD) Nothing to complain here, this is really good, just work a bit more on your tone (it's great already, though) and it'll be perfect.

The tone was kind of messed up because i think I was playing through one of the garageband pedals along with my own pedal, and I didn't realize it sounded like that until I was done because i was using my amp at the same time. Anyway, I don't really like garageband anymore and my friend gave me a new program called Cool Edit that makes my line in sound 10 times better. I'm thinking I might redo this recording as well as most of the others on my profile in the next few days. trust me the tone will sound much much better.

Great playing, cant fault it! All you need is a good recording sound for the guitar and your really rocking then. Love your Mr. Crowley cover too, you nailed that solo like I've heard no one do it. Impressed man!

Sorry my C4C is so late, the holidays and no internet have really screwed me haha.

You essentially played this spot on, I really couldn't pick out any mistakes. I would have liked to actually see you play it, but that may not necessarily be an option. I wasn't entirely a fan of the tone, since I don't like an overly distorted tone, but that may just be me. Great job!
