This nice older gentleman brought my grandpa, a mechanic one of these cars (2004), and told him to change the spark plugs. Good ole G-pa doesn't know how, and we can't find a God forsaken manual, or anything to help us. Silly Germans... If any of you own one of these fine machines, and have changed spark plugs, I'd love it if you briefly explained!
Thank you!

First page on google... The pics are pretty blurry but if he's a mechanic he should be able to make sense of it if it's the same motor/car

seems like a pain in the ass. the thole thing is, it's mercedes. anything on these cars is going to be a pain in the ass to fix or change.

tell the guy you can't fix it and you'll give him $1000 for the entire car. then fix it and you and your gpa will be ballers in your "new" benz

now you've got the idea! after that put ridiculously dark tints on the windows, annoyingly bright led headlights, and a soundsystem that costs more than the car itself

Surely you don't need it spelled out to the very letter for you to figure it out. If you know the basics of how an engine works you can get in there and find them. Changing spark plugs is kind of basic...

And really though, you couldn't use google?

Spark plug cover off, spark plug leads off, get a spark plug socket that matches your spark plugs, get a wrench with an extension and put the socket on the extension, get the socket in the spark plug cavity, turn anti clockwise to undo spark plug, put the new pre-gapped spark plug in, turn clockwise to tighten. Repeat for all cylinders.

Edit: Just read that DIY thread, **** that engine's a bitch to work on LOL, good luck matey.
Sincerely,

What happened to the plugs? Surely they haven't started dying yet.
