I'm not a big fan of antiques, but whenever I watch antiques roadshow and programs similar to it, I'm amazed at some of the stuff people have lying around their homes.

So, does anyone here have anything that's quite rare/valuable/old. etc?

That joke is definitely an artifact.

EDIT: I'm only saying that in a jokey way. Flame wars are below me, that's why I dance in pain.

Custom/handmade acoustic guitar worth about $5000 USD.

For Christmas my wife got me a perfect condition, hardcover copy of The Complete Poetical Works and Letters of John Keats (it's a Cambridge Edition of the Poets book) from 1899. I have a couple of other books from the 1800's too, though the John Keats one is by far in the best shape and the most important to me.
My God, it's full of stars!

I had a Kay SG-hollowbody with the EQ-sliders

Actually I own a Mandolin from the Mando-rush back in the turn of the century. My Great Grandmother played it in one of those orchestras or something... damn things were never built with a truss rod so it's basically useless now

Got plenty of things, including some artifacts from old cultures I've picked up on excavations in Sweden, Brazilian amazonas and other places, oldest artifact being flint that's dated 5000+ years old, but I've also got ceramics from many cultures. I've also got fossils from squids that are millions of years old. I've got weapons from very old african and amazonian tribes, 100-year-old bayonnets from the swedish infantry, old books, sheet music, a 100-year-old pipe from western africa and many more things.

My grandfather collects all sorts of antique stuff, especially books and religious items. He has a bunch of books from the 16th century lying around. If I go up into my attic I could probably find lots of old wooden religious statues, especially from Africa.

I personally own a copy of an early English translation of the Divine Comedy from the mid 1800s.
