i play in a pop punk band covering blink 182 and ava. i know tom delonge uses a vox ac30, as well as a fender. but anyways im buying a vox ac15c1 today, with nothing else though, no pedals or anything, would this still be a good idea? the pedals will have to wait for another 2 weeks, would it be a good idea to do this?

Have you tried the amp with your guitar? Have you been able to try it at a reasonable volume? If so are you absolutely sure you like it? If so go for it!

Yup, I don't see why not. It's an awesome amp. But switching channels can be a pain, I recommend getting and an A/B Pedal (the Electro Harmonix Switchblade cool and it's cheap and compact).

Otherwise, awesome amp and happy new future amp day!
