Alright. Got an Epiphone FT-130 Acoustic, made in Japan somewhere around the 70's.
Thin bolt on neck, which looks exciting.
It's missing the bridge piece the strings rest on, I'm going to have to make one out of wood or bone or something.
The only thing I dislike about this guitar is it has a Zero fret.
But I have a question.
Since the neck on this thing is so thin, I want to try something.
Would I be able to mount an output jack, 250k volume pot, and a passive 10k alnico single coil onto it?
I notice most acoustic pickups are active, but will this work just fine?

you may want to look at HB pickups because hollow bodys tend to feed back easily.

2009 Epiphone G-400 (SH-4)

I had thought of that. But i'm not sure I wanna throw a perfectly good humbucker in an acoustic. I may have to make a stacked single coil in this case.
