I am getting a weird buzzing coming from the nut of the guitar, the low E also feels loose and my tuner says its E but it is not i can tell. Its the same string gauge as the last and i changed the action but at such a small amount i can not believe it would be that. Any suggestions or ideas?

heh...nut buzzing...

what's your nut made of? It could be worn down ever so slightly. Is it an audible buzz or is it more a resonant feeling you get? What frets is it on? If you changed the action it very well could be that.

its an audible buzz its not like the buzz you get when your strings are too loose but if i have it anything lower than standard it goes haywire so i am taking it somewhere tomorrow.

did you take all the strings off at once?

check the neck's relief.

fret the low E at the first fret, at the same time,
fret the low E at the last fret, where the neck and body meet.

with both places held, look at the middle frets., 7-9th.

does the string lay on the frets there?

Like i said in my above post if you did not see it, they are very close to touching you could probably put a piece of paper through the space, and all the strings were taken off at once.

oh yeah i didnt catch the paper thing.

well the neck relaxed a little.

buzz at the first few frets usually indicates the neck is pin straight -back bowed.

if you want to try adding a little reck relief,

you would turn the truss rod 1/8-1/4 turn counter clockwise.

that's a very small amount.
dont force the turn and let the guitar settle in tune.

feel free to measure again after and check playability.
