Hey guys,
So I have been playing for quite a few years and have mainly stayed in standard tuning, but I want to expand my horizons and start doing different tunings. Unfortunately, my current guitar has a Floyd Rose and I don't want to go through all the effort to reset the bridge and all that so I want to get a backup guitar for these different tunings and as a backup for when I gig.
I mainly play metal guitar so I want one with humbucking pickups, a thin neck and easy upper-fret access. I am also on a tight budget so I am looking for something in the £150-£250 price range. I have seen two which I am interested in, which are the Dean MLX and the Epiphone Prophecy EM-2 Custom EX, can anyone give their opinions on these guitars?
Thanks,
Matt
