What is the best amp for metal in low price? Peavey valveking?

I found out my amp sounds really bad and I want better amp for my music.

I'm looking for tube amp

I make a mistake. My budget is $1500

What I want is:
Amp that cost not over 2500$
My favorit guitarist are: James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Randy rhoads
It can be used or new
Most for home use (maybe gigs)
I live in Denmark
My current gear:
Jackson RR5FR with EMG 81 & 60
Kirk Hammett wah
Ibanez ts-9
Boss SD-1
Fullbore Metal (I'm not using it right now)
Boss Ch-1
Zoom GFX-5 (Not good enough for Distortion but good cleans)
Fender frontman 15g

are you SURE that you want to spend $2500 cos thats a shitload of money to spend on and amp unless youre a pro and its usually unwarranted cos you can get awesome amps for a third of the price. think about it, im not sure you know what youre talking about. BUT, tube is the way to go and ill recommend a Peavey 6505 or Jet City JCA5012

I don't know about for valve amps but the line 6 spiders seem to be good for metal, don't know if they do a tube version. Good luck!

The Spider Valve is a horrible, horrible choice for metal. I have it and I hate it. It can't even handle the high output EMGs and everything sounds digital, no matter how it's set.

Has nothing serious really been said in this thread?

Well since Marshall and Orange are cheap over there, why not start there? Rhodes kicks ass, I would think a Marshall Vintage Modern would cover that eh? You want a decent 2x12/4x12 of course.

You need a proper overdrive too, the DS-1 is alright, try modding it it'll be fun, and a proper distortion box. Just in case you ever get into the likes of Dying Fetus.

if shipping woudn't kill you, a Splawn Quickrod. hand made in the USA top of the line. can find used on ebay for $1200, then pickup a cabinet, however V30's aren't ideal for the amp, so i would look for different speakers.

JCM800 with a boost.

i have played one JCM800 (it was the single channel one i don't follow marshall a whole lot) since owning the Splawn and it doesn't hold a candle to a Quickrod.

You can afford a Mesa Recto, hell you could even get yourself a Diezel for that couldn't you?
Why would you consider a Valveking for metal if you can afford a Recto??

Nonsense.

Not that you hate it, that's a personal preference and you're welcome to yours.

But it can most certainly do the things you claim it can't.

This kid must be high. TS, I'd get a 5150 or a Dual Recto. $2500s quite a bit, you can get a really good amp for that.

The words "low price" should not be in the title or anywhere. $2500 will get you a high end amp. Now don't get me wrong, I love my Valveking and use it for everything from recording to gigging, but for that price, you could get an Engl, a nice Mesa, Orange, a brand new 5150 halfstack (with money left over) etc. If I were you I wouldn't spend over $1000. Especially if you're not gigging.
