A "tubescreamer" is a person paid by a guitarist to stand behind the amp and scream at the tubes. This terrifies the tubes into overdriving and delivers a thick, harmonic-rich tone.

umm i don't know how to say it, but the switch on the guitar is cutting the sound when switching, sometimes middle work, or sometimes others work, should i open the guitar and see?

erm, if all positions are working intermittently then i think you can rule out a broken wire or faulty connection which leaves the switch itself?..... i would suggest opening up the back to get to the switch, then spray a little contact cleaner into it to remove any grime that may be in there affecting the connection. if this doesn't work, the switch itself may need replacing?
