Machine Head's Unto The Locust, followed closely by Mastodon's The Hunter.

Not really a 2011 release, but Alter Bridge's ABIII.5 was good too.

The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues
Carbon Based Anatomy
Deconstruction

Tied, because I raped all three. Although I hold the record for most listens to Colours in a single year this year I'm sorry but I love Colours.

To Ts, the foo fighters remind me of pop sing along music played with guitars. I have nothing against them and would pay for a ticket, but I can't understand their music. I listen to music the wrong way to enjoy that band. They're pretty much nickleback. I have nothing against nickleback either, although I wouldnt buy a ticket. There's no difference to me, but I don't understand why so many people openly express their hate for nickleback.

PJ Harvey - Let England Shake I guess. 2011 hasn't been an interesting year for me when it comes to new music.

I guess I kind of liked The King Of Limbs. It was a major disappointment to me but it's still not a bad album. Not just as great as their previous ones on the 00's.

i can see what you mean from the pop end but Bridges Burning, I Should Have know and White Limo are nooo where near pop, but i agree that radio hits like Rope, These Days and Walk have a simple vibe, Still saw the Foos in New Jersey Best show I saw before i saw Black Lable Society with Judas Priest.

Bitchin' album and I'm in the same boat. I've probably missed some gems though, I've been playing fill-the-gaps from previous years more than keeping up with the new stuff.
And yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust? Man delights not me: no, nor woman neither... nor women neither.
