I got the neck one for a Washburn and it said on the description on the back of the packaging it was good for the neck and middle positions. hope that helps.

doesn't matter - put the neck model in the middle position, a bridge model is going to be way too loud.
Actually called Mark!

though... ew. I'd put something else in there. Up to you, of course.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Emppu Vuorinen uses a neck hot rail in the middle position of his ESP sig. And if it works for him, well...

I don't much like them

I'll base my opinions on what i think for myself rather than arguments from authority...

NW is one of my favorite bands...but I can't think of a song that Emppu would use the middle pickup at all for...I mean I think it's something that's just kind of there...

Considering it's a sig I imagine he must have some use for it, although I really have no idea.

A neck hot rails in the middle still sounds mostly like a neck pickup. The hot rails has such a thick tone to begin with. For the middle position I think a neck Cool Rails is always the better choice.
