Hey all, I'm a musician from Toronto! Here's my album, it runs about 22 minutes in length, but I'd appreciate it if you took the time to even check out one or two tracks!

I have become a crazed Pink Floyd fan after falling in love with their big albums such as the behemoth Dark Side Of The Moon, The Wall and Division Bell. The way songs flow into one another on those albums, primarily The Dark Side Of the Moon, inspired me to create an album that "flowed" nicely. Now, in terms of sound, I'm a bit more John Mayer/U2/Coldplay/Oasis -ish, but the structure of the album was a direct influence from Floyd. Please check out the album and if you'd like to purchase it, just click "Buy This Set".

Hey! I'm listening to Sidelines right now, and I'm really liking it. I love guitar sound, and the all the instruments sound great together. I'm especially liking the little fills you play when your not singing. It's really amazing I think actually. And the percussion, the sounds are simple but they work so well, I can't think of any way I'd prefer to hear it. Awesome job on this stuff! I'll keep an eye out on your work for sure! It definitely hits that Floyd sound, yet is just as definitely unique as well.

If you have a sec, could you check out my thread real quick? Only if you have time and feel like it of course. I have a few recordings, not full length songs, just some instrumental stuff. https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1508840

Thanks!

I can totally hear the Pink Floyd and Oasis in the album, your voice resembles a mixture of Waters and Liam, it definitely suits the music wonderfully. Your guitar work was simple, yet quite effective and pleasing. The percussion was solid, works very well with the whole mix. From how you described how you wanted it, it sounds like you were right on the dot with this album. I will most certainly keep this in mind next time I get an iTunes card. Bravo, you've done a wonderful job.

Cheers from down the highway in Hamilton! I checked out your whole album, I absolutely love Rebels, my favourite one out of the whole thing. I can tell it is majorly influenced by Pink Floyd, awesome! I have Rebels on repeat. I'm going to show some of my friends that song.

I wanted more from the tracks that are less than a minute, personally I think you can expand a lot on those so it doesn't seem like a filler.

Thanks for checking out my live original! I'll return the favour here

Blue - The guitar tone sounds great. The riff at the start kind of reminds me of 'Dosed' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's really nice, kind of chilled out Nice start

Sidelines - Kind of got an old school feel to it, I really like it! Mixed very well, perhaps lower the volume of vocals slightly and add a tiny bit more reverb. But apart from that, great composition and performance!

Comet - I really like this one. I like it a lot, in fact - I used to listen to a lot of music like this, not necessarily Pink Floyd. Love it man, my favourite

I'm loving the instrumentals on Sidelines. Like ankthebank said, could possibly use a little more on reverb for the voice, but you mixed the tracks very well so the voice goes over the instrumentals, but you can still hear them clearly. Great job though, you can tell you put a lot of work into this, and it really paid off . I normally don't listen to music like this, but I'm actually really enjoying it.
