So, Pit, I've recently become interested in a particular type of music: That is, scary-sounding music. Or generally eerie-sounding. Here's a few tracks that really stick out to me that kind of sound just wrong... in a good way.

If you're looking for eerie, I quite like Drone Music. It's very relaxing, but because of how slow it is, it's sometimes pretty eerie. Steve Wilson did a some experimenting with it on his solo album Insurgentes - A very weird but cool album. He's good friends with Lasse Hoile, who directs most of his music videos, and he's also very odd. Check out Harmony Korine, from Insurgentes, to get a good impression of both of them

Edit: Harmony Korine isn't a good example of drone stuff, that album was just the first thing to spring to mind

Coil did a few songs for the first Hellraiser that never got used in the film. Downright creepy.

Martyrdoom by Dead Congregation is a creepy intro.
Inner Mental Cage by Blut Aus Nord is right creepy too.

I think I'll recommend this album till my death, but The Caretaker - Stairway To The Stars. The album is basically lots of very old ballroom vinyl's sampled and manipulated, reminds me if The Shining.

Banshee by Henry Cowell.

I was in band class while my director was playing this song. At one of the louder parts he stares at one of the girls (I swear she was high that day, too) with a look that could kill. She started crying. Funny stuff.
Minecraft: Sonic
League of Legends: CinoSRelliK

smoke, you get more awesome by the minute..... You have an epic beard, live near woods, listen to metal, grill stuff using makeshift bbqs out of old cans, and now we find out you have stabbed someone in the dick

The Drift is tough to get through. some Throbbing Gristle stuff would also fall under "eerie".

Aphex Twin

http://youtu.be/5Az_7U0-cK0

even the video is fukcing scary..

Creepiest thing about Aphex Twin is when he puts noises at the end of his songs that when you use certain sound visualizing equipment a picture of his face appears.

Also, Scott Walker can go f**k himself, but I'm pretty certain we're not talking about the same Scott Walker. Just thought I'd add that anyway.

Wow I never expect people to click my links

Yeah it's fantastic, he creates an amazing atmosphere. I'm surprised that you don't like ambient music if you like that, a lot of ambient music has a similar vibe to me.

Here's something with a similar vibe:

The whole songs made using guitars if you would believe it.
