I am about to get a new guitar for a graduation present from my parents. Five years of higher education is definitely worth something! I started playing about ten years ago on my brother's Fender and switched to an Alverez AD60CK about 6 years ago. I haven't bought any (large) instruments since, so I want to make sure I make the right choice. I have a friend in Southern Missouri who has a guitar handmade by Ken Martin. It has a certificate inside and has his signature with #101. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this guitar builder? Apparently he has made guitars for several different artists (I was told Cheryl Crow bought either #99 or 100), but I haven't been able to find ANY information about him or his studio online. Any and all help would be appreciated!
