Hey everybody, i want to expand my musical horizons (lol) by learning new genres of music. right now i really just play RHCP stuff and improvise to Jam tracks, so im looking for some jazz, blues, rock, funk... anything I've been playing 5 years, have good knowledge of music theory. Id say im intermediate, but i can't shred for crap, i dont really like it. Thanks

Oh, and i have a fuzz pedal, wah, ibanez guitar and an amp with like chorus delay reverb etc
I hate when people compare John Frusciante to God. He's
good and all.............but he's no Frusciante.

I have sheet music/tab for song that you might be interested in, but first I have two questions;

1. How well can you tap?
and
2. How many frets does your guitar have?

You could probably pull some of it off, but you'd need just two more frets to do the whole thing. However, I can't find the music for it right now.

Hell, I can only play the first two measures, and even that I can't play anywhere past 130BPM (original is at 168 because Beethoven is insane).

How about some oldies?

The 60s and the 70s were great. That's what I play.

Blues. I was in such a rut playing metal, once I started learning stuff about blues, it just opened up a new world to me.
