when it comes to relationships do you guys and gals find it hard to move on or let go when you break up or go your separate ways when there is no closure?

I have never understood this "closure" thing. What does it entail?
I just baw for a short time, then man the **** up and get the **** out of there.
#4
Very, very, very difficult. I've never quite managed the whole "getting over" thing.
#5
Yep. But if there's one thing I've learned is that you hardly ever get closure.
#8
No option for "it depends" so I voted the last option.
OT: it depends on how long the relationship lasted.

Edit: not to sound like a dick though
You dirty piece of shit, you.

It was the weirdest moment of my life, and I`ve been caught with my dick in my hand, by my brother, with a giant close up of a dudes face on the tv.

Lol I really can't say since I've never been in a relationship. But if I had been, I would definitely want some closure.
Trust me, I'm a Jedi.

I do find it difficult to move on without closure, but I eventually start not caring about the whole thing and forget about it.

+1 I thought breaking up was closure. Some people just don't seem to get this.

I can't stand when people go back and forth. ****ing annoying as shit to be around.

Know what pisses me off the most? That 'Its Not You' crap.

That's nothing, I got "it's not you, it's me", "I'm not ready to be in a relationship", "I don't think it's working" and "I hope we can still be friends". All of that in a fucking FACEBOOK PRIVATE MESSAGE. ****ing bitch.

I had to reread this 3 times because it sounded really weird in my mind, I don't really want to think about it.

Oh and yeah it's pretty much impossible. What I thought was the best relationship I'd ever had ended within a minute where she said "I've had another boyfriend this whole time LOLZ"

Define 'closure.'

to me it is just you both being clear that you are breaking up and you both know the reasons why.For me what happened though is we had some disagreements and she ended up hurting me so i told here i think we should just take a break for a while.

I havent seen or spoken to her since then.and now I really miss her cause she was also my best friend That was over a year ago
#20
The only way I managed to 'get over her' was to resent her in some way, really recognize the less happy side to our relationship and make myself into the best person I can be. Sadly, for me, it was the only way to really move on.

Go for a totally hot rebound and/or copious amounts of drinking.
Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV
And you think you're so clever and class less and free
But you're still fucking peasants as far as I can see

A working class hero is something to be.

Nope. It's my biggest weakness, but a strength at the same time.

If I don't have closure, I just can't get over something. But as soon as there is, I'm over it in a flash.

Could've been a wall post. lol

****ing ninja'd. I should have known better.

You, good sir, have not gone over to your friends house after a hard night of drinking to find 2 dudes passed out in the same room both holding their own flaccid cocks in hand, passed out, with porn on the tv.

I unfortunately tend to have a habit of dating psycho bitches, so my closure tends to be going into hiding so they don't petrol bomb my car or set my house on fire.

I find it easy to move on, but I find it very difficult to interact with that person in any way after. I want nothing to do with them, because it's easier for me that way.

I don't think I've ever had closure, apart from the time I initiated the break and I made sure I told her why I was doing it, I was fine with it then; guess it's different if you're the one doing the breaking up though.

Well I am going through that now. From a break up last week. No closure yet but being bitter at the moment is helping me let go. It is that or I end up a heart broken wreck

I got all of that in a text message a few weeks back, I know that feel bro.

Also, it hurt alot more because she only said all that because her ex came back into her life. ****ing bitch.

To TS, yes it's alot harder without closure.

It sucks balls with or without closure. I'd rather have closure than not, but that's not going to make it suck any less.

If someone breaks up with me without giving a good reason, ill wonder why she broke up with me, if she breaks up with me and gives a good reason why, ill hate myself for making mistakes. Theres no way of coming out of a relationship with someone you really cared about/liked without getting hurt
#38
They always tend to keep bothering me if I offer any sort of closure, so I usually just write them off.
#39
Women need to go through the whole closure thing.

Men know they are over it when they get a boner while looking at another woman, no matter how long it takes.

Had the same shit, but at least she told me that in my face. Best way of getting over that is just completely forgetting about her. Delete her from FB, get rid of all your pictures and text messages, and just forget she ever existed. Only way to really get over it without getting heartbroken all the time if you ask me.
