Looks like this is a Canadian thing.

Na man, we never locked our doors in New Zealand and so far half the people I've met in Australia are the same way.

Nope i lost my house keys the week I moved in, and the keys to my truck never leave the ignition. Why should they? I have a bad habit of losing keys.
My sig? Nice.

Only when I'm doing something particularly heinous, like talking on the phone. I need total privacy when talking on the phone, for some reason.

Lol I have so much stuff in my room that would give my family heart attacks if they saw.
I'm rgrockr and I do not approve of this message.

What kind of a question is that? I don't live in a fucking utopia ts.
#22
Yes I do, but now that you mention it, it doesn't really make sense. People who break in don't necessarily go through the front door.

Well I'm sure they'd rather walk through an open door than smashing a window.

Yes. Does anyone leave their doors unlocked but their outside lights on?

Few people have the decency to jiggle your knob before breaking a window.

If you have that hard of a time keeping track of your keys, get a lanyard. I never lose my keys because of it.

I have a vicious attack cat. I don't need to lock my doors.

That's a good idea, I never really thought of it. We don't tend to have a very big issue with break-in's and the like around here, I don't think many people around here lock doors.
My sig? Nice.

A few weeks ago, when I was drinking with some of my friends, we decided we were going to go into this kid's house at one in the morning and take all of the alcohol in the house, because apparently he never locks his doors.

His front door was unlocked.

Are you watching Bowling For Columbine TS?
If I played guitar I'd be Jimmy Page, the girlies I like are underage.

There's a scene where Moore goes to test the cultural phenomenon that is their neighbour to the north not locking their doors.

Michael Moore talks about how canadians don't lock their doors in Bowling For Columbine. Have a look:
Moore attempts to contrast this with the attitude prevailing in Canada, where (he states) gun ownership is at similar levels to the U.S. He illustrates his thesis by visiting neighborhoods in Canada near the Canada-U.S. border, where he finds front doors unlocked and much less concern over crime and security.

That fat bastard even walked into random houses and greeted everyone inside.
