Can anyone please tell me how to read Japanese guitar tab?

I was going to buy a couple of tab books, but realised they are only available in japanese, and I've heard its not the same as reading regular tab, like the ones on this site or in English tab books. Does anyone know how to read it?

Thanks for your help.

Here are some pics of the pages inside the books:
You might have to zoom in on your computer to read it.

Oooh I get it. That's clever. They put the number on the right string as normal, but it seems they've kept the rhythm markers in; something which always seems to be missing in tab.

So do you just follow it as normal then?
Because some of it looked alittle strange to me...

This may not be too helpful, but why not try reading the notation when the tab gets a little confusing? It'll help a fair bit in the long run, and the notation looks fairly normal to me.
