Hello everyone! Once again i have the pleasure of showing a new guitar

I had a Fender Classic Player 50's strat that i didn't use, so i put it up for sale on different website. I didnt get any real offers for a long time.. But all of a sudden, a guy offered me this beautiful hollowbody Hohner SE35 guitar. And i just had to take it, i had never seen such a beautiful hollowbody in my life. It had the shape of a regular ES-335, but the color was a warm red, with a sunburst into a much darker, almost black- red color around the edges.

Well i finally got it yesterday, and i have to say; its amazing! Much better than i thought! I didnt know much about Hohner guitars, beforehand, but it suprised me pleasantly! It was made in 1990, which makes it about as old as me, and its in almost perfect condition, its only got a small ding in the lower right corner of the body, nothing noticeable.

From what i could gather the retail price back in 1990 somewhere between 640 and 860 dollars, so its not exactly a cheap guitar.

Now for the pictures!

Its a beautiful guitar, and it sound better then I imagined. The pickups are decent, and it realy sounds raw along with a little overdrive. The neck is a bit thinner than an average Les Paul neck, which makes it perfect for me, as i usually play Fender guitars, and prefer thinner necks.
My other guitars is a Classic Vibe Tele, and a Road Worn strat so this is a nice and diverse addition to the collection. Finally ive got a humbucker guitar aswell.

ive got quite a few plans for tis guitars. First off im installing a new nut, as the one currently on is a some plastic thing.. Next is new tuners, i think im gonna go for Gibson MH010 silver tulip tuners. And eventually i might change the pickups.

Enjoy!

HNGD!! looks aweseome.

but slightly unrelated - im looking at buying a fender road worn 60s strat and i just want to know how you like your one. mostly about how it plays because im going to give my brother the pickups for his MIM strat and put for versatile ones into the road worn.

I really like the road worn 60's. The feel of the neck and the nitro body makes for a really nice guitar.. Mine doesnt have the stock neck pickup, it was damaged when the store got it, so they changed it for, i believe a dimarzio vintage pickup, which sounds amazing!

Feel wise, and quality wise they are amazing. Sound wise its got a much sharper, hot sound than most strats, which i like. But others might not.
