Sounds like a combination of both.

Every note you hear is picked except for the pulloffs (p)

e -7-p-5-----9-p-5----
B ---------5----------5- (x2)
G -----------------------

and then once:

e -7-p-5----(then slide your
B ---------5--index finger to
G ------------the 10th fret)

e --------------------------------
B -12-p-10------14-p-10-----
G ------------11------------11- (x2)

then

e ----------------
B -12-p-10-----
G ------------11- (x1)

e -12-p-10-------14-p-10-----
B -------------10-------------10-
G --------------------------------- (x2)

e -12-p-10-------
B -------------10--
G ------------------ (x1)

and then something like:

e -12-s-10-----12-s-10-----12-(ring out)
B -14-s-12-----14-s-12-----14-(ring out)
G -----------------------------------

So p means pulloff and s means slide. The only notes you don't pick are the ones that come right after those 2 symbols
