Just wondering if anyone has ever worked at a bar before and if so what was the experience like? There's a position open at one of my locals and I'm thinking of going for it since I already know all the bar staff and think it could be a laugh.
I already have one job though so this could leave me being exhausted.

cheers

Not really a massive laugh to be honest, although it's a good job to have while you're a student or whatever.

When its busy you'll be fairly run off your feet, and that can get quite stressful particularly at the beginning.
When it's quiet you will be cleaning.

I work as a sound engineer at a bar, it's not that bad. I guess it really depends on how big the place is.

What are you going to be doing there?

Did it for about month. Hated it. Having a regular sleep schedule is so underrated.

I would be doing behing the bar stuff eg serving drinks and taking orders for food. The sleep pattern thing does put me off somewhat since mine is very good for a 20 year old currently.
The place is pretty big, about 7 work on Saturday nights
