I've been given three weeks off from school to record music. Cool, right?

Here's what I've got so far: http://soundcloud.com/hfhband/sets/story-behind-these-scars

Any crit would be nice, and I promise to respond

EDIT: Here's more info on it...
The idea is to have 19 tracks, 10 of them actual songs, and the other 9 more experimental tracks, alternating between the two. Some of the songs, I've previously posted in the forums.

To me, I think its really well recorded and the songs are well played. I have taken quite an interest in the experimental recordings, there quite unique. Anyways, I havent heard a good mix in awhile from soundcloud until now. Really clean stuff here. Man, I wish i could get a project like this lol.

Can;t say much else. Keep up the good work!

Heyy ! First i listen that song and immediately it remind me of grunge. Then i notice your avatar and it says Nirvana I just really enjoy these songs, i would anytime watch you on bar gig. All instrument playing was tight and drums were good. Your voice is good, it got balls on it ! Remainds me Dave Grohl sometimes. Is this all you like one-man-band?

Wow, I really enjoyed most of that. The first song Boomerang and #4: Works Box in particular.
Love is a friendship set to music.

We all Nirvana dont we?...Still tripping on boomerang...The intro for ''boomerang'' is really superb....Nice drumming on "good for you''..This track blew me away...ur vocals are totally kurt & dave influenced(compliment)..Keep it up...''stiff knee'' has killer riffs....''take it's place'' is a power track.a headbanging song... ''blanket memory'' has the best chorus from all the songs.I dig this song....''cannot coincide'' has nice riffing & nice drumming....

Yes, it's a one-man band. Live guitars, live bass, live vocals (duh), and programmed drums ( :P, but it's worth it)

Needs beer and cigarettes :P Cool sound. What did you use to record, and what program did you use for the drums? The experimental tracks are too experimental for me. "Good for you" is really cool. They all are. These are very well written songs. Anyway, good stuff man - it's seriously awesome.

I used Ableton Live as my DAW, with the built-in percussion sounds for the drums.

I fell in love as soon as the guitar kicked in on the first song.
I like the slight gravel in your voice.
It defiantly has that nice gunge feel to it.

I like the droning sounds on Knot Stomach.
It is a very interesting track.

They are all awesome tracks, I might come back to listen to all of them when I have more time on my hands.
You have some serious talent.

These are great! I'm loving the production; overall it sounds nice and crisp. The guitars sound thick and the drums sound pretty realistic for programmed drums. As for the music, I love the variety. There are some songs that are so dark like Take Its Place and others that are lighter like Phase to Phase. Great Work!

The guitars are a little trebley, what you need to try to do is blend them with the bass so they create a wall of sound. Your voice is pretty nice, kind of reminded me of Marilyn Manson (just the way you end your notes don't hate) The drums are nice, I would of brought them up in the mix and I can't really hear the high hat that much. It's pretty well written, your voice is a little odd in places but it works. All in all it sounds pretty professional and good job C4C? https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1512464

Also if you want some really good drum VST go with Superior Drummer Really really good for this kind of music.
