Which guitar Schecter FR-7 (Loomis) or 7string Ibanez RG Prestige?

Which makes for better shredtacular-ness and why? They're both beasts and I really can't decide

Well, Loomis is able to shred like crazy on his model, and the Ibby looks pretty fugly to me. I'd say Schecter. I have not seen the new "thin neck" Schecter your talking about, but that probably will be good too.

There's also this: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/ibanez-rg927qm-premium-electric-guitar/h76275000001000?src=3WFRWXX&ZYXSEM=0&CAWELAID=1054641499

which looks pretty badass as well.

I see what you're saying, and yes the Ibanez does have a bit of a slimmer neck which is ideal for t3h sw33pz pickings... but tengo grande MANOS! eh... me mitts are rather mink! hmmm.... I HAVE REALLY BIG HANDS and so the schecter seems a good fit too.

The finish and quality of the RG1527 are both vastly superior to the RG927.
Premiums are nice, but Prestiges are way better, especially the 1527.

Having played both I can safely say the only thing to really choose between them is personal style; they're both very well built and sound awesome...
