In terms of production, things could be improved a little. It sounds slightly muffled and I'd master it a bit louder. Not bad though, I think it's just a couple of little tweaks away from having a really nice overall sound to it. The lead guitar already has a nice tone, the drums sound pretty decent etc. Anyway, on to the actual music which is what really matters. I like it a lot! Plenty of cool riffs, it's a nice composition. Has quieter bits (eg. the part after 3mins which is good change of pace, nice effect on the guitars there), heavier bits and a lead section so it stays interesting throughout. Really tight playing as well.
Overall I think it's excellent, good work!
Thanks for your crit, man (https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1511478)

Okay, I'll say this at the start, there's a production mismatch here. The drums are way too clear sounding, while the guitars are muddy as all hell. They should match up. If the drums are clear, the guitars need to be clear as well. The bass needs pushed a little, too. In terms of songwriting, the backing is great for the most part, but the solos could use some tightening up. The synths don't really fit either, in my opinion. The clean guitars are too loud in the mix, though the playing is great. There's a lot of potential here, and it just needs put together better. Keep it up!
It's very quiet at the beginning which isn't good because I was like "Oh I'll just turn it up" then CRACK! snare hit and I was like AHHHHH. Anyway, the drums sound really nice. Good job on those. I agree the guitar is a little muffled, add a little treble and presence. I would of add a pad over the intro riff to make it sound fuller, and something else to fill out the empty spaces in the solo. The playing is all pretty excellent I must say. Well thats all I can really say, it's pretty well written just in terms of production. C4C? https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1512464
I found the drums at the beginning to be like... painfully slow, but it picked up after so it was fine. I do agree that you should either clean up the guitar's tone or mud up the drums a bit so it blends better. It's been said alot but loads of potential :P I like the overall theme tho. I like what you got going so far. Someone up there said something about it being a little muffled, I agree. Mainly the drums were a little quiet.

But yea overall its good. I like that its not real heavy/fast its more melodic. I enjoyed "The Journey" as well. Keep it up.
