HI everybody!

I have a new band and we're going to do our first band practice this week and we
want to cover some songs first. we have different music tastes (not such a big difference but still), I like everything from blues-reggae-punk-hard rock-metal (death, thrash, black, Xcore etc.) and the guitarist and bassist like basically hard rock and grunge and so as our drummer.
What songs should we cover that can fit the music styles of all of us?

The Police!
Pamposh’s final question before drifting into a state of transcendent ecstasy was, “But Master, if everything is an illusion, then why does anything matter?”

To which the master replied, “It may all be an illusion, but it’s a very real illusion.”

I don't know if you're into them but Foo Fighters might be just right. They have a very consistent hard-rock/post-grunge sound that sometimes borders on punk rock.
