alright guys,

i've been looking for a small 5ish watter valve amps.. i've come across one of these..

could someone enlighten me a bit more?

you see, i'd ideally like a blues junior but no cash!
what's this blackheart like?

voicing? gain?

honest 1st hand reviews?

Tried one when testing amps with a friend.
I really liked it for what it is, however, it's pretty much a blues/classic rock amp IMO.
Low amount of headroom, sounds pretty ACDC-ish when cranked, I quite liked it.

I can't give my opinion on it cos I've never played it but just FYI, it's a hybrid - not all tube.

It's USA voiced according to what I remember and their manual. :P

It should be Britished voiced. At least my BH100 is, so I would be surprised if they wanted to do it the other way around. The BH5 will be able to give you a fair amount of crunch, with some decent saturation when you turn it up. But it won't give you anything more then that.

Really? I do remember it being more US than Brit. Could be wrong though.

Crank it up and it's instant AC/DC.
Which is a Marshall Plexi or JTM-45 tone.
Which is British.
Still it's actually a slightly modded Bassman.
Which is American.
Which makes this whole argument pointless.
