my band shadow of the abyss would be considered death metal, but we're not typical. most people say our music is "A.D.D metal" because our genre changes song to song but still staying metal. we're releasing our new EP "Trepidation" in 2 weeks, and we'll put up a song if our facebook page gets 200 likes. so if you dont mind giving us a listen:
SHADOW OF THE ABYSS

a lot of our recordings that we have are old and a lot of the songs on there we dont play anymore, so if i may suggest one, check out "Dismember the Deceased". its our most recent recorded song and best represents our current sound

Sounds really cool, man. It's easy to see that you guys have a lot of different influences. I see you're from NJ and have played at Champs. My band (From Philadelphia) has actually played there a couple times too. Maybe one day we'll end up playing together. That would be sick. We just released an EP that you can check out and download at http://www.reverbnation.com/seraphintravail. Love to hear what a relatively local band has to say about it.

Very nice guys! Dismember the Deceased is supremely heavy. I love the ride hits your drummer does at 1:18. You guys have some talent you totally need to get some higher recording quality versions up asap! (and let me know when you do) my names Kevin Aguilar hit me up on facebook. also if you wouldnt mind check out my band too!
