I have been trying to replicate the tone's from the songs below to do some covers in this band and have been having some trouble. Should i be going clean with a pedal or overdrive to get that buzzy and clean tight smooth crunch. I have been trying to mess with my overdrive channel and it is too heavy of a sound.

What amp are you using? On a lot of amps "overdrive" is the super crunchy channel. He's probably using a fuzz pedal.
Edit: Looked at your sig. I don't know much about hiwatts, but i've heard they are used a lot for metal, so your overdrive is definitely more saturated than what you want.
