I didn't see a NAMM thread for EG, so I figured I'd start one.

Just to start things off, new Jackson Corey Beaulieu (Trivium) sig guitars

I did not. This is just a thread for new stuff like the one over in GGnA.

A friend of mine went though! I can ask her to take some pics if you'd like. No promises though

how do people get invited? just wondering, a former guitar teacher of mine gets an invitation every year and has only gone once. he is of a different breed than most of us. he now uses a POD HD500 into clean channel amp of whatever.

phenomenal guitarist

he had like a $30,000 grant from the state to record 20 hours of ambient music. his whole recording studio is digital. he actually has an endorsement with a guitar company, can't remember the brand atm (steinberg?), it is a headlstockless guitar. he also does a ton of stuff. but he just turns the invitation down. kills me.

AFAIK, the only real requirement is that you have to work "in the industry". I overheard some Guitar Center employees talk about going once.

Stuff I've seen that I'm a huge fan of...

Might as well start with the one I'll never have.. check 5:06 in this video. It's an Ibanez J. Custom. Beautiful. The video is also a walkthrough of the Ibanez stuff at NAMM.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldsVuGP5n3A&feature=player_embedded

I really wanted one of the 25th anniversary RGs, they look awesome. But I'm not spending that kind of money on anything other than a Prestige. So I'll just get a yellow Prestige.

The Tele and Strat in this photo are beautiful:

Jackson has some awesome stuff too.. THE THIRD ONE OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG

And THAT V HOLY SHIT:

I can't wait to get my hands on this stuff at work.

The gallery I've been watching is here.. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mattsmusiccenter/ Saw it posted at the sevenstring.org forums. Couple other awesome guitars in that album, lots of stupid ones too.

We've mostly just been posting about an individual brand's stuff. There was a Fender thread that's been gone for a couple of days, and an Ibanez thread I saw yesterday.
Actually, I go by Dave, but there are already too many Daves on this forum.

Attendance at NAMM trade shows is restricted to owners, suppliers, employees, endorsed artists and visitors of NAMM Member companies. NAMM's Membership is comprised of companies that make, buy and/or sell musical instruments and products. If your company meets this requirement, we invite you to visit our Membership page to start the process of becoming a Member of NAMM.

I sold a guitar to an amp maker who was going, he didnt have any extra tickets

Naw, it's just a Paisley Telecaster Reissue. They used to make them in the late 60s.

Buh, that looks more like Fender thought it was Teisco and this was still the 60's, then got a hardon for star trek. No me gusta.

The samurai amuses me, purely because it looks like a warlock ****ed an old Ibanez Destroyer, which then botched the abortion. If they're as cheap as they [ethically] should be, i may pick one up once they're out , just to make fender fanboys cry.

BTW, Gibson Kirk Hammett Flying V:

Right, time for mine to be modded.

Whats the point of the pickup rings apart from them looking sweet?

Are the only differences the tuners, pickups, rings, the jackplate and the knobs? Because i seriously want to do this to mine and £4000 is insane just for a bit of relicing. Its probably a better guitar than the real thing.

Edit: I've just noticed that the headstock tip is stubby
