I'm considering immigrating to Canada (or Italy if I learn the language). But if shit goes down to the point where it's best to flee America. I plan on getting a pistol with an extra five magazines and I'll probably use an off-road motorcycle as my getaway vehicle. I'll avoid the main roads on my trip up north to Canada and I'll either use my American passport and pass myself off as a refugee or I'll get a forged Canadian passport to get through the border or I'll go to a less guarded area of the border and sneak through there.

I'm still debating whether or not I should get a reliable and time tested Colt .45 or a high tech FN Five-seveN.

Also how do you turn off the E911 GPS tracking on a Droid RAZR? I might bring it along but I'm not sure if Verizon's CDMA network will work in Canada. I know that it's meant to be used to track your phone if it's lost or to track you if you got kidnapped or something but I'm pretty sure the Government could track me with it to "aggressively interrogate" me.

Why would the government 'track you'

You're some 17 year old kid. They don't give a shit about you.
'And after a while, you can work on points for style.
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.'

'You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.'

Seriously? The government doesn't care about you!
I feel that it is very presumptious of you to think that a government of 300 milion people would spend even a second tracking you down...

Okay but should I just forget trying to turn off the GPS on my phone and flee without worrying about the Government?

I guess it's more applicable if you live in America.

I'm familiar with political asylum laws and how to obtain refugee status. Being queer and an atheist make the prospect of any more conservative judges being added to the Supreme Court terrifying, as there are already some that would overturn Lawrence v. Texas in a heartbeat. I have no desire to remain in the US if there's even a possibility of my mere existence becoming a legal problem.

I'm an Atheist but I'm not gay. I'm not a Capitalist so I'm not sure if that would get me in trouble if there were more conservative judges in Supreme Court.

Most likely not. Political dissent and atheism are more things that get you social stigma, not legal problems.

My main concern is that several currently sitting Justices are in favoring of overturning the decision that explicitly legalized being gay in the US. Should they do that, literally any sexual activity not approved by the state can be outlawed. So, gay anything, adultery, blow jobs, sex toys, porn, etc. (which have all been illegal in the past) could all be re-criminalized.
