Have any of you seen this nonsense? Protests are starting to get out of hand I'm not sure of the source of this image but I would like to know which fucking idiot thought it would be a good idea. Our world needs to educate people about how the media industry works, because most seem to assume that artists make all the money out of their product. Not buying things for a month to protest piracy laws is the stupidest idea I have ever heard. What does the Pit think about Black March?

Saw this last night.

I laughed, because this is pretty much impossible to keep up.

People will flock to YouTube instead, and that's bad.

I think that YouTube should go black for the whole month if people are gonna do this.

Yeah, that ain't gonna happen. People barely made it a day without wikipedia. (or the people I knew)
The content of this signature is pretty much irrelevant

Not buying creative products for a month is not going to hurt the media industry in any way. At all. It will just really hit the smaller roles first, such as the artists and assistants, just as piracy does.

Consider it done.

I almost hope that SOPA passes just because the resistance that would ensue would be nuts.

When it has come to NDAA, elections, etc., not much is really heard on FB besides the occasional unliked RP link. I posted the second sentence in this post and within an hour had 20+ likes on single posts and 25 comments.

Bring it on, corporocrats.
