well the normal LP is a 22 fret instrument, the prophesy is a 24 fret. this puts the neck pickup further back on the body, so it would not fit because of this.

You sure? I've heard that the neck is just longer :S But that might have been on the 2012 one.

the fret board is longer, because it is adding 2 extra frets, this pushes the neck pickup closer to the bridge. making the gap between pickups smaller. You could deff make a custom pick guard, but I highly doubt you will find a pre-made one that will fit properly.
