Post some odd facts and trivia about musicians that aren't actually music related.

He also graduated from Harvard. I read a pretty neat article about him in Rolling Stone.

Desmond Decker moved to my neighbourhood; then died here too, down the street R.I.P
Dido used to use my old Job Centre in Streatham.
Hot Chocolate came from Gypsie Hill; and still resides there.
Eternal, this UK RN'B Band came from Parchmore Road, around the corner.
The Bass Player from T.Rex went to my first school in Upper Norwood
Captain Sensible/The Damned; All local, and one of them lived on Parchmore Road growing up.
Jeff Beck is from Wallington though people in Croydon claim him as one of our own and; Wallington's near, so, whatever, it's all good.
The Clash came from Brixton (I have to be there tomorrow)
Same as;
David Bowie and Ozzy Osbourne's wife/manager, Sharon Osbourne.

The drummer from Def Leppard, Rick Allen, has one arm.

The best part is that I really like that guy as a drummer.

He's actually an honorary dean now if I'm not mistaken.

Also, like Nikki Sixx, if I remember correctly, Slash also "died" and was brought back due to a cocaine or heroin overdose.

James Hetfield was raised as a Christian Scientist.

Kirk Hammett and Les Claypool attended the same high school and knew each other.

Lars Ulrich's dad should have been cast in Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter.

Dave Ellefson ****ed around with Dave Mustaine's wife (maybe ex-wife now?).

Tom Araya is Catholic while Kerry and Jeff are Atheists. Not sure about Dave Lombardo.

Sammy Davis Jr. was a member of the Church of Satan and King Diamond is still a member, I think. Satanism is more of a philosophy of life according to the members, not really about worshiping Satan much.

Johnny Cash had a house in Jamaica which is believed to be haunted by an entity referred to as "the White Witch" and Johnny's voice was possibly captured on EVP.

I'm pretty sure Dave was raised Catholic, but I'm not sure if he still follows the religion.

It's assumed that it was a retaliation in reference to a gang beating, in which Tupac assaulted an enemy gang member outside of a building just a few hours before getting shot. There's clips of it floating around.

Dave Mustaine was raised as a Jehovah's Witness. He went back around the 2000's but he decided to leave again.
He also moved out at 16 or 17 and made a living by selling drugs.

One of his regular clients couldn't afford to pay him in cash so he traded records for drugs, among which were heavy metal records. Hearing these inspired Dave to start playing guitar.

Zakk Wylde's name is actually Jeffery Phillip Wiedlandt.
Bruce Dickinson collects locomotives and tanks and is licensed to drive them. (tanks) And has a dalek prop form the original Doctor Who series.

I also found this:

At age 47, the Rolling Stones' bassist, Bill Wyman, began a relationship with 13-year old Mandy Smith, with her mother's blessing. Six years later, they were married, but the marriage only lasted a year. Not long after, Bill's 30-year-old son Stephen married Mandy's mother, age 46. That made Stephen a stepfather to his former stepmother. If Bill and Mandy had remained married, Stephen would have been his father's father-in-law and his own grandpa.
