Does anyone burn videos to DVD's anymore?

I put everything on my Ext. HDD now, havnt burned a DVD in a long while...

I used to use Nero/Alcohol/CloneCD/DVD to rip "non-copyrighted" material

Not for personal use, i keep .avi files on my Archos 5 (portable hard drive with touch screen and software to play video and music files, surf the internets) and i plug that into my xbox to watch whatever. For friends, i'll burn files onto DVD's with nero. All legally, of course.

You were kind of funny at first, but now you're just annoying

Anyways, I decided my library of movies should go on DVDs one day and burned about 30 of them, but then I realized half the time the audio doesn't encode correctly and I'm left with a few round pieces of plastic. Plus, I don't even have a DVD player besides my laptop, and my hard disk is big enough.

Look into ConvertXToDVD, a very user friendly program that can convert almost anything you throw at it. As far as conversion speed, it will depend on the awesomeness of you computer.
