Hey, not sure if this is the right thread for this, correct me if I am wrong. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me why players such as Guthrie, and Antoine dufour put scrunchies and bandanas around the strings on their headstock, in Guthrie's case it almost looks like a capo. what is this for?
To mute strings while tapping or doing other crazy stuff.
sweet, I had a suspicion, but I wasn't sure thanks
Oh man, I thought the thread title said "scrunchies and bananas".
