looked in the Ableton thread. no luck...

my bass player sends me parts through email, and when i plug them into Ableton, they are always faster than when played alone (in itunes). is there any remedy to this problem? ive been fighting with it for ages, and i cannot seem to come up with a solution. anyone have a fix to this issue for me, or at least point me in the right direction? thanks!

are you just drag and dropping them into an audio track?
when you do this you have to be sure not to change the physical "lenght"of the audio track, and to wait for ableton to completely load the track.

Remixing is for talentless pussies who don't know how to tune a drum or point a microphone.

i am doing that. and i am waiting for it to completely load. is there another way to get it into ableton that DOESNT mess with the timing?
