Real noob FX loop question because it is really messing with my brain thinking about how to work it out.

This is my current set up.

Guitar>tuner>wah>phaser>OD>Chorus>Delay>Noise Gate>amp

I use my amps distortion for my dirty sound and I've been told that if I put the Noise gate in the loop I can eliminate some of the high gain buzz. How do I go about doing this. Ie Where do I plug the leads into the send and return jacks.

Cheers guys!

to put the gate in the loop you'd plug one end of a cable into the amp's FX send, other end into the gate's input. Another cable into the gate's output, and run that into the amp's FX return.

This will help with preamp hiss and noise.
