As it has come to my attention that the U.S. government seems to be cracking down on a lot of sites that allow us to get free music, and I propose that we do something about it in the precious months we have left. Megaupload has been wiped out and mediafire is next on their list, how long until they go after other sites and sources we use? My proposal: That we produce a community-driven list of essential albums from any genre we can think of, and leave that list in this thread so that we can try and obtain these albums before all of our sources are taken from us.

Leave suggestions below, if 3 or more people suggest the same album, it gets placed under its respective genre. Any music is welcome. I'm going to add a personal pick to start us out!

Kayo Dot - Choirs of the Eye

Alternative Rock

Good call. I removed it for caution's sake. It's not like it's very difficult to find this stuff, anyway.

Believe it or not, I can't stand Of Montreal. If I say "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" can I get some of those hipster points back?
