okay i was playing my guitar and learning a song on my computer but when i leave it alone just to search the web my guitar amp gives this high pitched feedback noise like a microphone facing towards the speakers.

How to fix it? My guitar is an Epiphone LP standard

Move away from the computer.

Or turn off the amp.

it will most likely always do it. better shielding may help a bit. also the higher output pickups are more likely to do so. its not a bad thing. i bet at least 9/10 bands on stage play with feedback in the show, if they are hard rock or metal. at least that's what i have seen.
