I've been looking through my pick container and I've found a lot of "round" (heavily used) picks. Got me wondering....what does everybody else do with theirs?
#2
keep using them?

you can make a necklace with them

I've seen people wearing earrings made of these plastic Pokemon disks that used to come in chip packets, so I'd imagine the same thing can be done with picks. Doesn't the one guitarist from Soilwork wear a silver sharkfin from his necklace?

For me, I always lose my picks before they go all round and stuff so
#10
If you are using your picks enough that they become heavily used before you lose them, then you are doing it all wrong.

If they crack or tear or get too worn down before I use them, I melt them and mess around with the plastic. But I usually just lose them.
#14
Usually I keep my used picks in a little glass bowl.
Once it's full, I heat them up a little, using a lighter, so that they become noticably softer.
Then I get some French dressing, cut some pickles, jalapenos, peppers, onions and tomatos, mix them up with the picks add some salt to them, sit down on my couch, turn on the TV and eat my warm pick-snack while watching some How I Met Your Mother episodes, thinking about my life and future, realising that this life is going nowhere, especially when eating goddamn plastic guitar-pick-salad with vegetables and French Dressing.

... so I pour the content of the bowl into a sandwhich, add some bacon and continue watching TV.

Seriously: I tend to lose them quite some time before they are unusable.

She insists to wear this lights.

I don't think so.

How can I persuade her?

Why don't you just re-sharpen them? Swipe the rounded tip against some carpet a few times on each side. Boom. Like nothing even happened to it.

I glue them on my guitar case. When people see you with your guitar case they think you must be amazing because of all guitar picks especially when they're broken in half. That's why i use Fender California Clears they break easy

I store mine under my bed and the cushions of the sofa at home and find they multiply. When it comes time to tidy the house there always seems to be hundreds of the things everywhere...
It's an opinion. It's subjective. And I'm right, anyway.

Got a GC nearby? Here, they have picks to use on the counters... I take one every time I go (they said it's ok cuz I give them to a homeless guy that plays guitar on street corner for donations ). Anyway, I live 2 miles from GC so I'm there 2-3 times a month, that's 2-3 free picks a month. Other than that, if you go into withdrawal, PM me your address and I will send you 6 random picks in an envelope.

Play with your fingers like a real man .

If my band played only blues and blues rock, I'd never buy picks again.

Make cat toys out of them? Throw them at natives?

To be honest, I think there is a pick gnome living in my apartment complex. My picks don't last long at all... and it isn't because I get rid of them...
