Reinvent the wheel up there,
flow back home
for a penchant malnourish,
until the proverbial spit
hits like the tired streaks
of would-be paradigm shifts;
it was me all along, a lost cause
cruising undefined landscapes,
searching for what I once believed in;
and as the gears of the flesh
change to dominance
I find myself put in place.

This is what I think you've been trying to write for the past few weeks. The "new" style you've been approaching (shorter, less wordy) has been sort of hit or miss, but dear lord this is a hit. I'll try to come back and be constructive soon, but I really enjoyed this, Fred.
always nice to catch one of your pieces whenever i lurk around on here.
beautiful as always.
this one is for you.

Thank you for reading, guys I'm honoured!

Zach, this piece is me using a similar writing style to the one used in 'Atrophigue.'
