Lately I've been in the market for a footswitch for my 6505+ 112 combo, and I wasnt terribly impressed with the Peavey one. It just felt cheap and flimsy. So I was wondering, what other footswitches are there that would work for it? My frst thought was a Boss FS-6 which I've heard works, but are there any others?

Cheers

I used the Boss FS-6 when I had my ValveKing and my 5150. I highly recommend it.

^He has the combo, not the head. No MIDI.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't see the first switch on there.

That's dependent on the amp, not on the footswitch. I don't know about the 6505+ 112, but with my VK & 5150, it was an instant change. No delay.

^^No delay on the 6505+ 112 either. Overall, it works very well. It was one of the first "upgrades" I bought for mine and it's great. Switches between rhythm and lead, and the other button switches between crunch and clean. So it's like having 3 channels, basically.
