is it all tube or not?
i know that the HT-5/HT-10 are not but i think remember reading somewhere that the HT Studio 20 is all valve.

No, but it's a good sounding amp anyway.
Fender American Special HSS Stratocaster
Ibanez 1987 Roadstar II Deluxe
Yamaha THR10X
Marshall JCM900 SL-X
Ibanez WD-7 Weeping Demon Wah
TC Electronic Polytune
Seymour Duncan Tweakfuzz

It has an SS Phase Inverter, as well as some SS clipping components to get some of the distortion for the high gain channel.

I have the HT-40. It's a fantastic amp. Great cleans, and a nice drive tone.

how does the HT-20/HT-40 compare to a Tarynor YCV50B?
i play Blues Rock, Hard Rock, Alt Rock, Funk Rock and a bit of metal.
id love to get a Guns N Roses/Ozzy Osbourne (Randy Rhodes Era) distortion tone and RHCP sort of cleans.

i suspect it's hybrid, but i haven't seen a schematic

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
