Hey Guys, I'm looking for a small size amp that I could easily carry around with me mainly between school dorm and my house, or sometimes other places. It's mostly going to be use for practice only, so I'm not going to need a loud volume, but I'm looking for an amp as small as possible, would be great if it's light, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, with decent sound quality, and also include distortion effect. I'm not so sure where does the small size amps range in price, but I can tell you I'm kind of on a limited budget (no worries, just give me the amp name and price, I'll do the math and figure out which one works best for me). I mean, the amp doesn't need to be awesome, it's just for practicing in a small room.

BTW, it's for my Fender 57 Reissue Stratocaster Made In Japan Since 1993.

Style of music I like to play: Blues, Jazz, Funk, Rock
Some examples of the tone I'm looking for would be:

John Mayer

Jimi Hendrix

Funk

And sometimes I would play rock songs like this too
(so I prefer there's distortion effect along with the amp)

He's obviously pretty young, and I'd guess he's being raised by wolves, or at least humans with the intellectual capacity and compassion of wolves.

You finally made it home, draped in the flag that you fell for.
And so it goes

buffet?

vht special 6? or maybe the ultra (think it's heavier, though)
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

you did not specify a budget, but a vox lil night train is AMAZING. you need a cab though...

i guess in that case, the ac4 is about as good as it gets.

VHT Special is way too heavy for carrying around.

really?

I mean, it depends on what you mean by "carrying around" of course, but i'm a total wuss and i can move mine fairly painlessly.
