learn the major scales first. It will help you out a lot.

Every time you go up one fret, it is a half step. So if you start on Open B and go one fret it is a C. If you start on open D and go a half step it would be D#.
I play guitar.
Well first off, this is a bass tab, since it has 4 lines on the TAB part. But the lowest line is the Low E, next highest is A, and so on.
when i was younger i could read sheet music, now all i see are dots and lines
Pick a position and stick with it. Move up and down if necessary. It appears that you can play this entire song in the first position, which includes the first four frets of all strings.

So restrict yourself to the first four frets and locate the notes that way.
I can't wait till my fro is full grown.

Like an interactive thing. If your looking at the bottom line on a staff, it would be an E, which in 1st position is the 4th string 2nd fret. Ledger lines below the staff confused me more so i would learn those a little while after the others. Any questions just message me. Spent alot of time on theory..
