Not sure if he is in the us but definately give him a shout..

He's in Australia. WtrPlyr's got a pretty good list there. I don't know if you'll enjoy dealing with them too much though

What you want?

dod 250 grey spec with these mods:

blend knob
3 way clipping (for soft, hard, and clean boost), maybe fet clipping, germanium, and straight to the opamp?
tone knob just for rolling off highs (like the ones in clons i think)
completely shielded cavities and wiring (since i am starting to gig and noise is horrible)
boost knob and a switch for it
and all the switches to be noiseless.

or maybe a klon with those knobbies. i like lotsatweaking.

You pretty much described a Klon with a clipping switch. By noiseless switches, do you mean soft touch switches or just no pop? The former is a PITA, latter is very doable.

the latter, i hate a pop ever being made to my signal. klons have a blend knob to mix in the cleans?
#14
They do, but it's set up so that the gain pot controls both the blend and the gain of the op amp clipping shit. No independent boost either but that's easy enough to do.

so you would be able to seperate the gain and blend controls, or do you feel its better to keep them together?

You can get more variety of tones with them separate. Whether or not they're actually different enough to warrant it is another matter.
