seagull original s6 or s6 slim. among the very best sounding solid top guitars, nice semi gloss finish, choice of wider nut (1.8" for the original, 1.72" for the slim).

blueridge br-140

all solid dread, and blueridges sound very good, martiny tone. maury is a good guy, btw.

are both about the best priced all solid guitars around. i also recommend elderly as they actually inspect each guitar before shipping.

yamaha fg730s - solid top, nicely made, nice finish. slightly warmer tone than the fg700s, which is also a pretty good solid top guitar.

these would be my top picks in your price range. none are acoustic electric - unless you need a cutaway, you can add electronics to any of these later. if you must have a cutaway, that means you will get electronics but you won't get an all solid guitar. if you gotta have a cutaway, you might consider a seagull entourage or yamaha fgx720sca.

look nigga, if you're chillin with 5 bros and 2 hos, you're gonna wanna pay attention to all of em equally. not moon over the hos forever and laugh at every shitty thing they say and just stare at them all night, like some of my mates do.

I own the Yamaha FG700S. It's amazing! If you can spend like $5 more, get the saddle replaced with bone. That makes the guitar have more sustain. After that, it sounds simply amazing for the price. It's $200 at guitar center. I got mine for $140 at guitar center, thanks to discounts. I couldn't be happier with the guitar. I'm sure I'll keep it as my main guitar until I get a Taylor.
