I just finished watching Up, and by god. I cried like a damn girl at the end of the montage with Carl and Ellie. So my question is, did you cry? I sure did that was pretty damn sad for what is a children's movie.

For those of you who haven't seen it ^

Yeah, I've seen it a few times. It made me laugh. No crying, though.

I don't cry. I'm too stoic and repressed. I have seen the movie though and it was an emotion part.

Tears welled up, and that symbolic, single one was shed. One of the greatest stories ever told.

I'm sure he's already seen it. Some people just aren't affected that much by movies.

No, I got sad but didn't really cry. I guess that's what sucks about me, I can't cry except when I hit my limit.

I tihnk it's more to do with youth, you don't really understand the implications at that age.
A lot of movies I didn't even bat an eyelid nowadays some movies such as Schindler's list, The green mile etc are super-sad.

A lot of the videos on wimp.com. I skip over the sad ones haha. Some are soooo bad.

It's really to do with maturity I suppose. People think the more painful experiences someone goes through, the hardier they become. I find it's mostly the opposite, making you appreciate people's pain more.
On playing the Paul Gilbert signature at the guitar store extensively, my missus sighed:
"Put it down now, It's like you love that guitar more than me!"
In Which I replied.
"Well it has got two F-Holes!"

Yes, but it'd be better if it stopped after the first 10 minutes or stayed a silent film or didn't go off on a weird storyline.

I felt quite sad after watching Up In The Air. I only felt sad in the beginning montage of Up.
The content of this signature is pretty much irrelevant

Well the part about him becoming a surrogate grandfather was nice, also after he read the note Ellie left him with ''Thanks for the adventures, now go make your own'' left me pretty sadface too :/. I think it was a great movie.

No, I didn't cry, but it's a very good movie.

My top Disney cartoon movies:

1. The Fox & The Hound
2. The Emperor's New Groove
...I don't care enough to think about which one 3 is.

I did like those parts, but everything else seemed kind of out of place. Good movie, but not amazing.

I didn't at that one, but I often tear up from movies.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas was one of them.

The beginning of Up was the only thing that really made it good. Otherwise, it would have been in the league of Cars for me (in Pixar terms).

The Green Mile made me cry like a bitch though.

How a movie can make you cry is beyond me. But 'Up' was a good one.

Hell yeah, and that's not the only kids movie I've cried at. I'm not afraid to admit it.

Even the beginning montage of the story of their life together was so sad.
HEY
Do you like anime/manga?
PM me about buying the graphic novels I'm trying to sell
#38
Haven't actually seen Up, but I watched the Montage, and I didn't find it sad. The opposite really. They had a whole lifetime of love and true happiness. You can't be too sad about that.

It's sad, yes, in a way, but I would take a life like that in a heartbeat.
