Hello everyone!
I really like the tone of Soldano SLO head, but it's way too pricey and it's impossible to find it here in Moscow. My budget is no more than 1500$
What amps can get close to this kind of tone? I would prefer a combo btw!

Jet City amps are based of Soldano amps.

Look at them. I don't know if any or which ones are closely based off a SLO though.

You might want to contact Farid or Vadim at TubeTone.ru, I've sent them a few Soldanos, and they might be able to give you a lead on where to get one locally.

Otherwise, you're going to have to go small (no bigger than a smallish 1x12) if you're importing from the US. A large combo is not going to pass shipping size and weight regulations.

a hot rod 50 plus gets pretty close for under half the price. imo

+1

No offense to the JCA stuff, they sound great, but they don't get that close to the SLO tone IMO.

The JCA100H and HDM are literally the same amp. The HDM just has a half power switch, depth control, and LED lights.
