Of course the Hellraiser...it's $350 more. For that much, it had better be superior to the other one.

yep, the hellraiser. that's one that you can hang on to for a long time if you like it enough.

however, both of those guitars are going to have slightly thicker necks. you might look at the C series if you are used to something along the lines of the ESP/LTD thin u contour.

i played some at the guitar store, the necks are not as bad as people say they are
im after a guitar to play some metal rhythm stuff so a thick neck is not an issue

oh yeah i was by no means saying they are too thick, or anywhere close to it. i was used to the thinner neck of my c-1 classic, then last spring i bought my atx 7 string and while i immediately noticed the neck was a little thicker, i adapted to it quickly.
